Individualized care has become rare. I wanted to create a space to practice in the best way I know how- using my expertise to create a specific program to help you achieve your goals.
Hi! Thanks for checking out my practice and site! I have been a physical therapist since 2007, graduating with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico after getting my Bachelor’s in 2003 in Biochemistry. I have since worked in a primarily outpatient setting, starting in sports medicine and working the last 11 years in Georgia with a large variety of areas, conditions, and a diverse population. My passion is the person, the story, and how we all impact one another in the most profound and subtle ways.
Over the years, I have found that every “body” responds differently to all the techniques that I have practiced. As a result, utilizing a variety of interventions, I can give a comprehensive and unique experience to encourage the best path forward toward health and well-being. I have taken additional coursework and particularly enjoy manual therapy, sports rehab, exercise progressions, balance interventions, neuromuscular and neural mobility treatments, dry needling, k-taping, cupping, and so so so much more.
More about me: I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. I moved to the GA area after meeting my husband of 12 years and have lived in our home in the Northlake area for the last almost 10 years. I enjoy learning new things, reminiscing about the 80s and 90s, traveling, and continuing my search for a finer balance (since nothing is ever static in life!). My passion, though, is stories. If they could feed and house me, I would survive on all your stories for the rest of my years! I love being a part of the story that allows people to find their own passions and return to a fulfilling life of their own.
I hope through this venture and process, I can encompass more parameters of optimized treatment to allow the wellness and the therapeutic natures of my work to shine through the people I work with. I’m so excited to integrate concepts of mindfulness, nutrition, sleep, and stress management into the strength and mobility portion of my work more thoroughly.
